Dawn Green (Director/Producer/Writer)
is a filmmaker and producer based in New York. She has worked on narrative and documentary film and television projects. Her work as a producer in television has included shows for the SyFy Channel and the Oxygen Network. Dawn worked as a Lecturer at Stanford University. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a BA from Brandeis University. She received her MA in film producing from the American Film Institute Conservatory
Annika Hylmö, Ph.D (Producer)
is a Swedish filmmaker based in Los Angeles. She earned her doctorate in communication from Purdue University and worked in academia in the United States and New Zealand before becoming an award-winning filmmaker and documentarian whose films have screened at CameraImage, Tribeca Film Festival, and smaller specialty festivals. She co-produced IMAGE MAKERS: THE STORY OF AMERICA’S PIONEER CINEMATOGRAPHERS for TCM, directed by Academy Award winner Daniel Raim. Her narrative short film, DR. PENELOPE, which she wrote and directed, executive produced by Academy member Tom Rickman, is winning hearts and awards at festivals around the world and her upcoming short film EDDIE’S TURN is produced by Academy Award winner Betsy Pollock. Annika is a producer of Women in Media’s renowned CAMERAderie Initiative, creating powerful films empowering female filmmakers to reach new career heights above and below the line. She has consulted on narrative and documentary projects and has a strong affinity for impactful female driven stories including writing and directing the upcoming documentary THE LAST WITCH. Working on SHELTERING LOVE is close to her heart as her own grandmother struggled with dementia.
