THE STORY
Just because a person can’t remember, doesn’t mean they should be forgotten.
A tenacious daughter confronts the challenge of her life when she becomes a caregiver to her mother, Love, who has Alzheimer’s disease. Frustrated with the limitations of the healthcare system in the United States, Dawn travels to Love’s home country of Norway in search of a better way to care for people with dementia. Inspired by the Norwegian mandate to build a universal Dementia Friendly Society, Dawn starts a similar initiative in her hometown in New Jersey.
